(Duration: 3 hours)
Part I – Lecture (60 minutes)
We will take you on a magical journey back to the very beginnings of the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole in the 60’s. The participants will experience the nostalgic charm of the festival in those days. The lecture will walk you through the Museum’s collection to demonstrate the unquestionable place the Festival has earned in the history of Polish song. / The lecture will walk you through the Museum’s collection to show the significant impact the Festival has had on the history of Polish song.
Part II – What a Voice! (60 minutes)
In this workshop, you will learn about a recording studio and its role in music production. You will also study vocal ranges, vocal effects used in the studio and have a go at sound editing by making your own song.
Part III – Permanent Exhibition (60 minutes)
Multimedia. Modern. Surprising. A fun and friendly way to view the history of Polish song from the1920’s until now. It is designed for visitors (participants?) of any age and any level of knowledge of the history of Polish song.
Here you will find over 1,000 music videos, 2,000 photos, 2,000 audio recordings, 2 music walls with touch screens, isles of tablets, recording booths, a closet full of costumes worn by the music stars, musical exhibits and much, much more.
